About SoCal Uprising
Our Mission
At SoCal Uprising, our mission is to act as a diverse umbrella coalition for the residents of Southern California affected by imperialist policies and the limitations of binary political parties. We oppose state-sanctioned violence and the exploitation of individuals' rights and lives. Our stance is firmly against capitalism and the oppressive systems that perpetuate poverty. We reject beliefs in white superiority and systemic oppression, advocating instead for justice and equality both locally and globally. Our guiding principle is that we fight for one another, united in our efforts. We prioritize inclusion and diversity in our strategic approach to addressing oppression on both local and international fronts SoCal Uprising Coalition’s, we also believe a core of the mission is to empower communities through education and advocacy. We strive to create a more equitable society by addressing social injustices and providing resources to those in need.
